Our school has many strengths, two of which are the quality of teaching and pupil behaviour. However, there are other areas we need to develop and this is why the school was given Notice to Improve in July 2011. Under the current interim leadership arrangements, much progress has been made and this was noted in our recent HMI monitoring visit.

We are now seeking to appoint an inspirational and ambitious Headteacher who will lead us onto the next stage.

We are looking for a leader who:

?¢ can motivate and engage the whole school community including children, staff and parents

?¢ is knowledgeable and experienced in EYFS and KS1

?¢ is focused on continuous improvement and pupil achievement

?¢ works effectively in partnership with Governors and other stakeholders for maximum impact on pupils?? learning.
