From January 2013 (or earlier if possible)
Are you up for a challenge?
Our school has many strengths, two of which are the quality of teaching and pupil behaviour. However, there are other areas we need to develop and this is why the school was given Notice to Improve in July 2011. Under the current interim leadership arrangements, much progress has been made and this was noted in our recent HMI monitoring visit.
We are now seeking to appoint an inspirational and ambitious Headteacher who will lead us onto the next stage.
We are looking for a leader who:
?¢ provides strong strategic leadership
?¢ can motivate and engage the whole school community including children, staff and parents
?¢ is knowledgeable and experienced in EYFS and KS1
?¢ is focused on continuous improvement and pupil achievement
?¢ works effectively in partnership with Governors and other stakeholders for maximum impact on pupils?? learning.
We can offer:
?¢ a team of committed and hardworking staff
?¢ strong support from the Governing Body
?¢ engaging and highly motivated children
?¢ a culturally diverse and dynamic community.
This is an opportunity for you to make a real mark and be recognised for your achievement. If this is your first headship, you are required to have completed several successful years as a Deputy Headteacher.
Weald Infant School is committed to Safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children. Appointment is subject to an enhanced CRB check.
