The network management team is made up of the Network Manager and an ICT Technician. Both are full time posts.
This is an ideal opportunity for someone keen to learn a wide range of skills, from managing help-desk enquiries, through configuring Windows workstations to resolving network problems in a busy Microsoft Server 2008 network. With over 300 workstations, laptops and peripherals in a hard-wired and wireless environment, the post is challenging and rewarding. The person appointed will also be expected to maintain and develop the school website. This is a full-time post, for 37 hours a week, with 24 days holiday plus statutory bank holidays. We aim to appoint someone with Technician B competences (as outlined in the BECTA framework), or with the ability to develop these competences on the job. Pay is on Grade 4 (points 11 ?? 13), though a higher grade may be available for a suitably qualified applicant.
