Notts Performing Arts has four Performing Arts Centres in Arnold, Mansfield, Southwell and Worksop and eight Performing Arts Companies which are open to young people aged 7 to 19 years. Each Centre is open access and operates on Saturdays during term time between 9.00am - 1.00pm and provides a number of different activities in music, dance and drama for mixed ability groups. The Concert Band based at The Minster School, Southwell, rehearses on a Sunday afternoon 1.00pm ? 5.00pm and has an audition process, rehearsal and performance schedule. Applicants for these supply posts must show a range of recent teaching experience and the ability to plan and deliver high quality teaching. A formal teaching qualification is not essential, but it is unlikely that candidates just starting their career will have sufficient teaching experience and be able to evidence appropriate session planning and assessment. Supply Teaching staff can be called on to cover short term/single morning absences or long term/several weeks absence/full school term at the following locations: Redhill School, Arnold, Minster School, Southwell, Brunts School, Mansfield and Portland School, Worksop. Candidates shortlisted for interview will be able to state their preferred location. Closing date: 23 December.
